PARK Shin-hye is an actress who has recently gained much attention. She won a lot popularity, not only in Japan, but all throughout Asia as a result of <You’re Beautiful>, an SBS drama broadcast in 2009. She debut in LEE Seung-hwan’s music video <Flower> in 2003 and was first recognized for playing the young CHOI Ji-woo in <Stairway to Heaven>. Later, she became a star by appearing in various dramas such as <Tree of Heaven>, <Goong S>, and <You're Beautiful>. In 2011, she was cast in the Taiwanese drama <Hayate the Combat Butler>, which was the second highest rated show in the country. This drama allowed her to become one of Korea’s Hallyu stars and earned her greater attention following her casting in MBC’s drama <You’ve Fallen for Me> with JUNG Yong-hwa, who she had experience working with in <You’re Beautiful>. In 2010, PARK featured in the popular romcom <Cyrano Agency> but her next major film role soared to even greater heights when <Miracle in Cell No.7> became the most successful Korean film of 2013. That same year, PARK also featured in KIM Jee-woon’s short film <One Perfect Day>. PARK next appeared as the queen in the costume drama <The Royal Tailor>, the second film of LEE Won-suk, in which she co-starred with HAN Suk-kyu, GO Soo and YOO Yeon-seok as the king.
