HORROR STORIES 3, to Feature LIM Seul-ong, PARK Jung-min, KYONG Soo-jin

The Third in the Omnibus Horror Film Series
 

Horror Stories 3, the third in the omnibus Korean horror film series, has finalized the casting, with rookies for the main characters, and they are LIM Seul-ong, a member of K-pop boyband 2AM, KYONG Soo-jin of How to Use Guys with Secret Tips (2013), and PARK Jung-min of independent films like Bleak Night (2011) and Tinker Ticker (2014). 
 
Horror Stories is an omnibus film series featuring promising young directors and actors, with the first film released in 2012 and the second in 2013. In Horror Stories 3, BAEK Seung-bin of Members of the Funeral (2009), KIM Gok and KIM Sun of White (2011), and MIN Kyu-dong of The Treacherous are participating to show horror with their distinctive styles. The KIM brothers and MIN have already worked in the first of this series as well.
 
This series has opened a new area described as omnibus horror, and has become a prestigious platform for rookie directors and actors. In the first of the series, including the KIM brothers and MIN, JUNG Bum-shik of Casa Amor; Exclusive for Ladies (2015), LIM Dae-woong of To Sir, With Love (2006), and HONG Ji-young of Marriage Blue (2013) participated. They are young directors with one or two feature films in their filmography. This film also featured promising rookie actors including JUNG Eun-chae of Nobody’s Daughter Haewon (2013) and YOO Yeon-seok of The Whistleblower (2014).
 
In the second of the series, KIM Sung-ho of How To Steal A Dog (2014), KIM Hwi of The Chosen: Forbidden Cave (2015), JUNG Bum-shik and MIN Kyu-dong participated and currently very active young actors including LEE Soo-hyuk, BAEK Jin-hee, KIM Seul-ki and GO Kyoung-pyo.
 
LIM, KYONG and PARK are also promising stars for the next generation. LIM is proving his acting ability in various films such as Acoustic (2010) which depicts the life of young musicians in a realistic tone, and 26 Years (2012) based on a famous webtoon with the same title. KYONG is also building acting career with films like How to Use Guys with Secret Tips and TV dramas like Secret Love Affair (2014). PARK is called the star of independent cinema, with films like Bleak Night and Tinker Ticker, and now expanding the scope to TV and feature films. He is also to be in LEE Joon-ik’s DONGJU; The Portrait of A Poet and KIM Kyung-won’s Giselle is Reborn.
