Set against the Battle of Bongodong which took place in 1920, Battle chronicles a skirmish that took place between Japanese imperial forces and Korean independence fighters during the Japanese Occupation of Korea (1910-45). Taking place over four days, the standoff delivered the Korean independence army their first victory.

Battle will be released at some point in 2019. The combat drama will be financed and distributed by 
Showbox while Big Stone Pictures and W Pictures are sharing production duties.
