Following the box office hits Tazza: The High Rollers (2006, 6.8 million viewers) from CHOI Dong-hoon and KANG Hyoung-chul’s Tazza-The Hidden Card (2014, 4.0 Million viewers), the card shark crime drama series returns to the Chuseok holiday season in 2019 with Tazza: One Eyed Jack. From Collective Invention (2015) director KWON Oh-kwang, the film features an all new cast of characters, with PARK Jung-min (Keys to the Heart, 2018) and a long-haired RYOO Seung-bum (The Berlin File, 2013) leading the roster, along with new star CHOI Yu-hwa, who rose to prominence in The Truth Beneath (2016) and was one of the leads of the hit independence fighter drama The Battle: Roar to Victory this summer.

Il-chul (PARK Jung-min), the son of the legendary card swindler ‘One Ear’ featured in the first instalment, is a poker prodigy. However, when he takes out a loan for one major game, he winds up losing it all and being saddled with a massive debt. On the cusp of losing his hand to his creditor’s knife, he is saved when the legendary poker player called ‘One Eyed’ intervenes. Wanting to learn from him, Il-chul begs One Eyed to let him join his card shark team. One Eyed is pursuing a dangerous plan, but one costly mistake soon puts everyone in danger.
