Born in 1990, KIM Eun-young, aka Cheetah, is a rapper and actress. She quit high school and left her hometown Busan for Seoul at the age of 16 to pursue her dream of being a singer. This project was cut short when she was hit by a coach bus while crossing the street and put into an artificial coma. Although she considers herself lucky to have survived, the prolonged use of a respirator turned her voice deeper and husky. However, with a new outlook on life, she decided to make the most of the life she almost lost and started in 2010 a career in rap with the release of the first album as part of the hip-hop duo Blacklist. Having gained a lot of exposure with her participation in the 2012 rap talent competition show <Show Me The Money> on television, she released her first solo EP in 2014, Cheetah Itself, and later took part and ultimately won in 2015 the first season of Unpretty Rapstar, a female-version spin-off of <Show Me The Money>. After releasing her first full album 28 Identity in 2018, she created her own label Coda Entertainment and took on a new challenge as she made her acting debut as one of the leads in <Jazzy Misfits> (2019), for which she also composed and wrote the soundtrack.
