He started his career right after graduation, with a first experience as assistant director on <The Divine Weapon>, soon followed by NA Hong-jin’s <The Yellow Sea>. He was promoted first assistant director for the production of <Over My Dead Body>, and eventually made his directorial debut with <The Phone>, which released to a success in 2015.
