Although most of his filmography is constituted of period dramas and historical films, he doesn’t attribute this to his preference for this kind of stories, but his good understanding of the directors’ vision. After working on <Twilight Gangster> (2010) and IM Sang-soo’s <The Housemaid> (2010), he joined the art production service company Sang Sang Gong Jack So. In 2013, he served as a set designer for <The Face Reader> and was earned his first credit as a production designer in <Another Family> (2014). As such, he was notably responsible for the artistic direction of <The Silenced> (2015), <LOVE, LIES> (2016), <The Merciless> (2017), <1987: When the Day Comes> (2017), and <BEASTS CLAWING AT STRAWS> (2020).
