He debuted in 2003 as part of the set designers of BONG Joon-ho’s <Memories of Murder> and PARK Chan-wook’s <Oldboy>, and became production designer in 2006 with crime action drama <Sunflower> (2006). He started making a name for himself thanks to his fruitful collaboration with NA Hong-jin, as he was in charge of the art direction of <The Yellow Sea> (2010) and <The Yellow Sea> (2016).
