LEE Ji-su is a music composer and pianist who studied classic music composition at Seoul National University. He was still a freshman when he was chosen to act as a stand-in for BAE Yong-jun in the TV series <A Winter Love Song> (2002), for a scene where the character was supposed to play a melody on piano. The director of the show liked what he heard and so hired LEE to serve as the composer of the series. LEE then made a name for himself when he collaborated with film composer CHO Young-wook and created Yu-jin’s Theme for <Old Boy> (2003). The two musicians worked together again on <Silmido> (2003), <Blood Rain> (2004) and <Sympathy for Lady Vengeance> (2005), and in 2004 LEE received his first credit as the main composer of a film in <Little Brother> (2004).
