She was noticed early on with her short films in the international film circuit, but the feature film put her at the forefront of Korea’s cinema world as one of its representative new directors. Her latest film, <Paju>(2010), is another careful exploration of human nature and emotions via a portrayal of pain-stricken characters and their relations to each other. This film, too, was screened in the New Currents Competition Section of the [Pusan International Film Festival].Less
