PARK Yong-woo plays a young bridegroom who is being destroyed because of his single mother ([YOON So-jeong])’s jealous of her daughter-in-law in <The Hole>. He got good notices as he played a man having a clue to the story in <Swiri> but had not yet established himself as a star. His charm shined the most when he played a timid bachelor in <My Scary Girl>. He made his way into the hearts of the female audience playing Daewoo, who was helplessly being toy by his wacky sweetheart ([CHOI Kang-hee]). To the audience’s eyes, he is a guy who is handsome and groomed but lacks something. Good for him, because the imperfectness adds something human. PARK has explored diverse roles. He played to his image as a suave and charming guy in <Love Now> and <Once Upon a Time in Corea>. He also played against his image by taking on the roles of a fickle and short-tempered man. PARK has been pressing on with the thriller projects since his appearance in <Blood Rain>, followed by <Beautiful Sunday>, <Handphone> and <Children…> , which is about the missing children based on a true story.
