The film role he is most known for came in 2005, when he appeared as a gang boss opposite LEE Byung-hun in KIM Jee-woon’s classic noir <A Bittersweet Life>. In 2007 he was featured in the hit kidnap thriller <Voice of a Murderer> and the drama <My Father>, for which he earned a Best Supporting Actor award at the Chunsa Film Art Awards. He starred in the hit drama <Iris> in 2009, once again alongside LEE Byung-hun, and in 2014 he played the antagonist in the KIM Woo-bin vehicle, caper film <The Con Artists>.
