KANG Sung-Yeon made her debut in 1996 through MBC’s Open Recruitment. She officially began her career in MBC’s sitcom <Three Guys and Three Girls> gaining great popularity. Furthermore, she was recognized by being awarded with the New Actor Award at both the 1998 KBS Drama Awards and the 1999 SBS Drama Awards. Wielding a wide spectrum of acting personas, which range from feminine, boyish, to charismatic, KANG Sung-Yeon drew attention from the film industry for her turn as Jang Nok-Soo in <The King And the Clown> in 2005. Later, she not only expanded her reputation through television and movies, but also displayed diverse talents in different fields such as show hosting, radio DJing, as well as singing.
