The Jeju shooting site of Architecture 101, which created the first love syndrome in 2012, has been reborn as a cafe. Myung Films, the production company of the feature, had Myung Films Cultural Foundation renovate the filming set and opened ‘Cafe Seo-yeon’s House’ there on March 27th. ‘Seo-yeon’ is the leading female character played by HAN Ga-in.

‘Cafe Seo-yeon’s House’ was designed by the architect GU Seung-hoe, who was the executive consultant of construction for the film. The art director of the film, WOO Seung-mie, took care of the interior design.

Other staff members such as the director LEE Yong-ju also gave them a hand. Conserving traces of memories of the film, they changed the venue into a practical cafe. It took 6 months, from September 2012 to March 2013 for construction, but designing started all the way back in January 2012, immediately after the shooting of the film had finished.
