Well Received as a Genre Film Full of Wild and Thrilling Charms

Project Wolf Hunting is receiving love calls from film festivals around the world, including L’etrange International Film Festival in France and the Fantastic Fest Film Festival in the U.S. After being officially invited to the Midnight Madness section at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, the good news is coming one after another.

L’etrange International Film Festival will be held from September 6th to 18th this year, and in 2018, The Spy Gone North swept the Grand Prix and Audience Awards in the competition category. Programmer Marc Troonen said, "Project Wolf Hunting is a rough rollercoaster-like movie that brings an adrenaline rush. The film just runs like there's no tomorrow. The audience will scream joyfully while watching the film," explaining the reason for the invitation.

In addition, the U.S. Fantastic Fest, considered one of the best genre film festivals in North America, will be held from September 22 to 29 this year, and The Age of Shadows was invited to the action competition category and won the Best Picture award in 2016. Programmer Annick Mahnert said, "Project Wolf Hunting shows the fun of opening a new chapter in Korean genre films. It's a feast of crazy characters that makes you thrilled," explaining the reason for the invitation.

Released in Korea on Sept. 28, Project Wolf Hunting tells the story of detectives who have to transport heinous criminals from the Pacific to Korea.
