The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BiFan) elected actress CHANG Mi-hee as Vice Chairwoman of the Organizing Committee at the 7th regular general meeting of the Organizing Committee on February 22nd.

BiFan’s Organizing Committee was made up of about two-thirds of movie people of the whole at the meeting in January last year including new members such as producer Jamie SHIM, actor JUNG Jin-young, director BONG Joon-ho and KIM Han-min.
Actress CHANG Mi-hee was referred to one of the New Troika along with her rival actresses as she debuted in Seong Chun-Hyang in 1976 and starred in movies like Winter Woman (1977), Neu-Mi (1980), The Flower on the Equator (1983), Deep Blue Night (1985), Hwang-jin-i (1986) and Death Song (1991).
In addition, she won numerous best actress awards from the Asia-Pacific International Film Festival (APSA), Daejong Film Awards, Blue Dragon Awards, BaekSang Arts Awards and Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, and served as a member of the jury of APSA, Busan International Film Festival, BiFan and more. CHANG was Vice Chairwoman of Korean Film Council and currently is a theater and visual arts professor at Myongji College.
Meanwhile, the 21st BiFan will be held from July 13th to 23rd.
