JUNG Woo-sung & KWAK Do-won Back Together for STEEL RAIN

THE ATTORNEY Director Returns with North Korea Thriller
Just a few months after sharing the screen in KIM Sung-soo’s dark thriller Asura : The City of Madness, actors JUNG Woo-sung and KWAK Do-won are set to reunite in the second film by director YANG Woo-suk, following his breakout hit The Attorney in 2013.
Based on a webcomic of the same name written by director YANG and illustrated by Jaepigaroo, Steel Rain will feature JUNG as a former agent from North Korean intelligence while KWAK will incarnate a senior member of the South Korean security services. Together, they embark on a secret mission to prevent the resumption of armed action in the Korean War. Another role, that of a North Korean woman who defects to the South and becomes embroiled in the case, has been offered to actress KO Asung.
Also seen in Remember you earlier this year, JUNG will soon be seen on screen again in The King. KWAK had big year in 2016, headlining NA Hong-jin’s THE WAILING in addition to appearing in Asura.
The announcement for Steel Rain follows a number of current projects featuring North Korean elements, including next month’s Confidential Assignment and the current in production V.I.P from PARK Hoon-jung. Filming for the project is set to kick off in February.
