M-Line Sells Catalogue to Chopflix

140 Titles to Be Made Available on English Streaming Platform
 

Korean distribution outfit M-Line has inked a deal with Chopflix, a soon to be launched streaming service owned by LA-based company Asia Releasing.
 
Led by distributor Milt Barlow, Chopflix will focus on delivering Asian-language content to Asians and Asian film lovers living in English-language territories through a vide on demand platform as well as a dedicated channel on Vimeo On Demand. Their new deal with M-Line will see them acquire 140 films.
 
Ahead of its mid-year launch, Chopflix has acquired some 600 Asian titles, as well as 400 hours of television content.
 
Meanwhile, M-Line is currently selling its lineup of Korean titles at the Hong Kong International TV and Film Market (FilMart). Among their new films are KANG Hyo-jin’s Wonderful Nightmare, with UHM Jeong-hwa and SONG Seung-heon, the IM Chang-jung and Daniel CHOI vehicle Untouchable Lawmen from SHIN Dong-yeob, and PARK Jae-sik’s horror The Black Hand, with HAN Go-eun and KIM Sung-su.
