Director Eun OH Assigned As Jury at 2014 Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival

OH Becomes First Korean Juror at the 12th Film Festival
 

The 2014 Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival is having its 12th festival this year and Korean director Eun OH was appointed as a juror, the first Korean ever to be placed into the position. The Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival is a competitive film festival that invites non-violent films.
 
The 12th festival invited 6 jurors. Actor and producer Zeudi Araya Cristaldi will stand as the President of Jury, while Italian actress Yvonne Scio, Egyptian musician Lamitta Frangieh, UK’s columnist Carole Ann Rice, and producer Rebecca Tranter will join OH for the jury’s seat.
 

Eun OH was born in Korea and has been working in New York while directing her films and creating visual artworks. She graduated from NYU for film and has been working while based in New York, directing and writing. OH has made experimental feature and short films such as Ho-jeop-mong and Take One, and Deconstruction of Korean Housewife (2004) which OH edited and worked on the soundtrack. It was invited to the first EIDF International Documentary Film Festival. She is currently preparing for Ernest Thomas Bethell’s Land of the Morning Calm (w/t).
 
Eun OH commented, “it’s an honor to be the first Korean film professional to be in the role, and I also feel a lot of responsibility,” when asked about her participation at the 12th Angel Film Awards Monaco International Film Festival.
 
The event will be held in Monte-Carlo from December 4th until the 7th.
