Following a mysterious car crash, a man wakes up with no memory of who he is. He tries to piece together the events that led up to the crash, as well as his own identity, but 12 hours later, after he’s already begun to piece things together, he suddenly wakes up again, but in a new body. He soon realizes that he has to deal with a unique condition that throws him into a new body every 12 hours, which makes his search to uncover his identity a very tricky one. Meanwhile, as he gets closer to discovering what’s going on, he clashes with a mysterious organization that appears to be chasing him, but which may hold the key to who he is.

The sophomore film of Heartbeat (2011) director Yoon Jaekeun, Spiritwalker is a propulsive action-thriller with a unique premise. Starring Yoon Kyesang of The Outlaws (2017), the film has drawn lots of attention at overseas festivals, starting with the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, where it premiered last year, and the New York Asian Film Festival this past summer, where it received the Daniel A. Craft Award for Excellence in Action Cinema. Sales agent K-Movie Entertainment recently reported that the film was sold for distribution in 107 global markets and was also optioned for a US remake by Di Bonaventura Pictures, the outfit behind the Transformers franchise.
