‘Don’t become like your aunt’. It was the night before I graduated from college, in a drunken confession, my dad told me about his sister who committed suicide 40 years ago. It was the first time I had heard about her existence. At first, I was curious that there was a secret that I never knew in my family, but at the same time, I felt uncomfortable that my parents were worrying about my aunt's misfortune would pass over to me. To face this fear deep inside my family and me, I start to trace back my missing aunt and my family history. Blending animation and personal archive footage as well as my journey, I attempt to make visible the part of my family story that has been erased. To question the place of women in Korean society and to find my own place.
