Youngsil, an independent archaeologist, and Inseek, a sound engineer, become lovers in 8 hours after their first encounter at an excavating sight. Inseek is certain that Youngsil is a free spirit. Anxious Inseek makes Youngsil promise that their love will be forever, whatever happens. Youngsil tries to keep the promise, even after their breakup. 8 years later, Youngsil develops a feeling towards Udo, a logger at the site, but is unable to do anything.
