When Hyndai Shipbuilding Corporation wins a bid for constructing an industrial port in Jubayl worth nearly a billion dollars, Manager Pak becomes in charge of building an enormous steel frame of a ship with about 100,000 tons of steel. It is a huge project. Dong-ryul, Pak's half-brother, gets into conflicts with his older brother but still overcomes them to work with him as a welder. Kang has lived with steel for over 40 years, gathering much skill and expertise. Ju-seok is tormented by Pak's strong will and occupational hazards but he overcomes his hardship with the encouragement of Chairman Jung. Working through much difficulties, they accomplish the first ship frame. On a very windy day, they attempt to put the frame on but they are unable to stably fix it on the barge. Only Dong-ryul and Pak remain. After navigating through 6,300 miles, the large ship is able to dock at Jubayl port.
