In 2000, when Korea Telecom underwent a major restructuring, many contract workers were fired in place of regular workers. When these people made a union to secure their living rights, 7000 of them were fired at once. In December 2000, KT contract workers set out on a long-term struggle. This film shows their bitter struggle for 517 days and the reason why they come to be defeated in the end.
