  • The Young Girls
In the mid-period of the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), most girls had to hide themselves in male attire because girls were brought to China under the Yuan Dynasty as a tribute. They were called 'Gasinai.' The court sends an envoy to China to abolish the tributary custom. At that time the envoy's fiancee is sent as a tribute. Fortunately he saves her on his way from China after doing away with the custom and they are safely united.
