Gummy Film is a production company established in 2009 by LEE Mi-young, the producer of <Art Museum by the Zoo> (1998). After debuting with YIM Soon-rye’s family comedy <South Bound> (2012), the company achieved critical success through the release of LEE Kyoung-mi’s <The Truth Beneath> (2015), which received top award from the Busan Film Critics Association and appeared on many best-of-year lists in the Korean press.
