OZONE FILM is a film production company founded in 2005 by KIM Sang-o, the producer of <Last Present> (2001) and <Fun Movie> (2002). KIM never shied away from working with neophyte filmmakers or directors weighed down by the commercial failure of previous works. After it debuted with a participation in action film <Mr. Socrates> (2005), the company produced the horror <To Sir, With Love> (2006), the romantic ensemble film <Love, First> (2007), the action-drama <City of Fathers> (2009) and the drama <Heartbeat> (2010). While none of these outings reached the break-even point, KIM never regretted his investments and managed to keep Ozone afloat thanks to fact that he was the only employee of his business. His determination eventually paid off when <Deranged> (2012), Korea’s first epidemic disaster film, pulled in 4.5 million admissions. OZONE FILM is currently run by CHOI Yeong-hun.Less
