  • BLACK PRIESTS Goes Into Production

  • KIM Yun-seok and GANG Dong-won Don Collar Robes in New Thriller
     

    Heavyweight stars KIM Yun-seok and GANG Dong-won have teamed up before cameras again for Black Priests, which went in the production on March 5th in Daegu. They first appeared together in CHOI Dong-hoon’s Woochi (2009).
     
    KIM and GANG will play priests who become involved in a mysterious case which sees them trying to save a girl from a dangerous situation. GANG recently appeared in Kundo: Age of the Rampant and My Brilliant Life after completing his military service. KIM has headlined a slew of successful thrillers in recent years, including The Chaser (2008), The Yellow Sea (2010) and The Thieves (2012). He will next be seen in KWAK Kyung-taek’s The Classified File, currently in post-production.
     
    The film is the feature debut of JANG Jae-hyun, who drew notice after winning the Best Film award in the Extreme Nightmare section of last year’s13th Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival (MSFF) with 12th Assistant Deacon. Also joining the actors will be newcomer PARK So-dam, who has featured in One on One and Scarlet Innocence, as well as upcoming films Girl (working title) and The Throne.
    Black Priests is being produced by ZIP Cinema and will be distributed by CJ Entertainment.
