The 3rd edition of Buenos Aires Korean Film Festival (Festival de Cine Coreano en Buenos Aires), the biggest of its kind in Latin America, begins its 7 days' schedule on Sept. 8th at Cinemark Palermo, located at the center of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This year's screening list features 12 Korean films, including mega hits like Roaring Currents (2014), Assassination (2015) and Veteran (2015), as well as Pieta (2012) by KIM Ki-duk, the most popular Korean director in Argentina, and Late Spring (2014), which was warmly received in international film festivals.

    I. Caruvin, a marketing staff at Cinemark, is certain that Snowpiercer (2013) by BONG Joon-ho and Pieta by KIM Ki-duk will be the most popular pieces this year.

On August 30th, Inside Men (2015) was screened to major local media journalists, film businessmen and distributors. On September 1st, Diego Brodersen, a former programmer of Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Film and also a film critic who writes for several journals including Clarin and Pagina 12, led a seminar on Korean film history and Korean cinema today.

Also the "Best Korean Film Posters" exhibition is held through October 1st at Korean Culture Center in Argentina. It features major Korean film posters from each time period, selected by 62 film professionals in 2014.
