Jero YUN came away with the Silver George for the best film of the documentary competition for his work

The documentary
Mrs.B. A North Korean Woman, another title that premiered in the Korean Competition section of the JIFF this year, is one of two festival titles from YUN this year, who also made the fiction short
Hitchhiker, which was invited to screen in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the Cannes Film Festival this year.
Mrs.B. A North Korean Woman was also at Cannes to screen as part of the ACID (Association du Cinéma Indépendant pour sa Diffusion) selection. The film was co-produced between France and Korea.
