His sophomore feature, <Worst Woman> (2016) was highly praised by critics for its acute examination of the main character, played by HAN Ye-ri. That same year, he presented at the Busan International Film Festival his next film <The Table> (2016), about four meaningful encounters whose only common characteristic is that they all take place around the same table of the same cafe. KIM then teamed up with LEE Kyoung-mi, YIM Pil-sung and JEON Go-woon to each direct a segment of the anthology Netflix film <Persona> (2019), with each of them featuring LEE Ji-eun a.k.a K-pop star IU. close
