LOGLINE

A romantic comedy road movie about a Thai girl dreaming of Korean Wave stardom and a Korean man with one day left until enlisting in the army.

PRODUCTION INTENT

NIM is an innocent Thai girl who believes in destiny.
Nam-ju is a handsome young Korean man who believes that fate can be changed.
The two meet by chance in Seoul, and are quickly drawn to each other, but they only have 24 hours together.
NIM must go to the US, and Nam-ju must begin his military service.
NIM decides to try like Nam-ju to change fate, and Nam-ju agrees to give destiny a chance.
The story is built on the foundation of the anticipation many experience about holiday romance. It is a romantic comedy that appeals to everyone regardless of nationality.
In addition to Thailand, the plan is to adapt <Transit Tour> for different Southeast Asian nations, where the second wave of Korean Wave has taken place. The clash, and convergence of the cultures of Korea and each Southeast Asian nation will create a synergy effect.

SYNOPSIS

They only have 24 hours.
NIM arrives in Korea in the hopes of getting an autograph from the Korean star Gong Yoo.
However, her trip goes wrong from the start.
Rumors that Gong Yoo is dating break out, and the autograph session in Seoul’s Myeong-dong is canceled.
Downtrodden, she heads to the nearby Buddhist temple of Jogyesa, and prays that she finds the man she is destined to love.
By chance, she runs into Nam-ju.
Nam-ju’s stunning looks are enough to make the heart flutter just by looking at him, but he will begin his military service on the following day.

As they bump against each other, Nam-ju drops his father’s keepsake. NIM helps him find it, and their short journey begins.
NIM cannot shake off the feeling that Nam-ju is the man she is destined to meet. This is not only because she fell in love at first sight, but also because she met him as she was praying at the temple.
What’s more, Nam-ju took NIM to do all the things she wanted to do in Seoul.
As they argue over whether their meeting is fate or coincidence, the new day dawns on them.
They spend their last minutes together taking a stroll around the walls of Deoksugung Palace.
NIM must now fly to the US, and Nam-ju must head to the Army training base.
They both wish their time together could be longer.
NIM agrees to change fate, and Nam-ju agrees to give destiny a chance.
Will they be able to meet again?
