Showbox Corp., a part of the Orion Group, is a leading financing and distribution company in the Korean film industry known for its outstanding performance in the local box office and its active participation in the international marketplace along with global partships.
Established in 2002, Showbox has built itself to encompass the entire production, financing, and distribution sectors, providing the filmmakers a solid production ground to create entertaining contents for the audience, with ‘entertainment’ and ‘quality’ as its foremost principles.
In 2015, Showbox entered into an exclusive partnership with one of the biggest Chinese entertainment company Huayi Brothers expanding its way to China and a co-production partnership with the Hollywood genre movie studio Blumhouse, firming its foothold to be a global motion picture studio.
