BIFCOM 2012 takes place
Asian Film Policy Forum 2012, Asia’s only film policy where various Asian countries get together to discuss film policies and aim at development of Asian film industry through improvement of systems, and the 12th Busan International Film Commission and Film Industry Expo, where information about location shooting of each country and up-to-date video technology are available, will be held at Bexco Haeundae in Busan from October 8th to 11th.
This edition of Asian Film Policy Forum is a chance to practically start discussion about film education to train talents for the future of Asian film industry and technical innovation essential for film education. At the ‘ASEAN Session: Education, Future Realizer’, current state of film education in ASEAN will be reviewed and practical discussion about means of talent training necessary in ASEAN and education program model will be conducted.
A seminar entitled ‘Industry Session: Stretch your imagination! About what you can get from virtual production! will take place as well. During the seminar, pre-visualization and virtual production will be introduced to help film directors, art directors, directors of photography, VFX experts and editors maximize their creativity and prove the influence of virtual production by showing recent case studies about how it is used in Hollywood and all over the world.
