The Taste of Money, a film about the ultra-rich of Korea and their addiction to money, has been invited to The 14th Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival. Director IM Sang-soo, who gained international renown with A Good Lawyer's Wife and The Housemaid, was invited to the Cannes Film Festival with The Taste of Money back in May. The film is to be shown as part of the Panorama section, Rio's main exhibition, which highlights works that have gained praise from international critics. The Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival is the primary venue at which Brazilian cinema is introduced to the rest of the world and also features the Rio Market, which fosters international exchange within the film industry. Director IM Sang-soo is to visit the festival, which opens on September 27th and runs until October 11th.
