  • LEE Myung-se Finalizes M for Korean Premiere at Pusan

Visually gifted director LEE Myung-se will present his final cut of M at the 12th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF). M premiered this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.

With his latest film M, LEE displays his mastery in a visually and structurally impressive film to explore a complicated story about loss, reality, imagination and love. GANG Dong-won plays the lead role of a successful writer, but he is troubled beneath the surface.

LEE previously directed GANG in his film Duelist. LEE is also well-known for Nowhere to Hide. GANG starred in last year’s hit Maundy Thursday. M will be part of Gala Presentation, a new section at this year’s PIFF which highlights major directors.
