HIDE AND SEEK Director Returns

YUM Jung-ah of Woochi (2009) and Cart is considering taking on her first horror role in twelve years. After starring in director KIM Jee-woon’s signature 2003 film A Tale of Two Sisters, this would be her second horror film. HUH Jung, the director of the bone-chilling Hide and Seek from 2013 will helm this new project.

According to her management company Fantagio, YUM is in the last stages of signing for the horror film titled Jang-san-beom (working title). In it, YUM will play a woman in her thirties who loses her son to ‘Jang-san-beom’ as strange things happen to her family.

Director HUH and Studio Dreamcatcher are partnering up again after the success of HUH’s Hide and Seek. The film brought in 5.6 million admissions during its run.

Jang-san-beom is scheduled to start shooting in July.
