  • by Pierce Conran /  May 29, 2018
  • New Action Thriller from Showbox

Actress SONG Ji-hyo will join leading man Don LEE (aka MA Dong-seok) in the upcoming action thriller Unstoppable. From debut director KIM Min-ho, the film focuses on a legendary gangster looking to go clean whose wife is kidnapped by people who don’t realize what they are up against.

Don LEE has been on a roll lately, which has included hits such as TRAIN TO BUSAN (2016) and THE OUTLAWS (2017). He has already appeared in Champion this year and has several more projects on the way, including the second part of Along with the Gods, subtitled ‘The Last 49 Days’.

Well known for her work on television, SONG is becoming more visible in the film world of late, having recently featured alongside SHIN Ha-kyun (The Villainess, 2017) and LEE Sung-min (The Spy Gone North) in LEE Byoung-heon’s affair comedy What a Man Wants. Her previous film roles include the gangster hit New World (2013) and Code Name : Jackal (2012).

Unstoppable also features KIM Min-jae (The Battleship Island, 2017), KIM Sung-oh (The Merciless, 2017) and PARK Ji-hwan (THE OUTLAWS).

Unstoppable, which is being financed and distributed by Showbox, went into production in mid-April.
