- LEE Mi-yeon Returns to Silver Screen with HAPPY FACEBOOK

- Veteran Actress Plays a Professionally-Accomplished Single MotherA Heroine of Korean melodramas in the early 2000s and best known for her role in the TV drama The Last Empress, veteran actress LEE Mi-yeon (Indian Summer) is set to come back with Happy Facebook. The omnibus film will be LEE’s first commercial feature in three years, since 2012’s SO Ji-sub-starring A Company Man.Directed by Lovers of 6 Years director PARK Hyun-jin, who has recently been focusing on web drama series, Happy Facebook will be produced by hit filmmaker JK YOUN’s JK Film. CJ Entertainment will handle the distribution.Happy Facebook will be a romantic omnibus film centering on three couples’ love stories developed through social network service platforms. It has been reported that actors KIM Joo-hyuk (The Beauty Inside), YOO Ah-in (The Throne), E Som (Scarlet Innocence) and Kang Ha-neul (Twenty) are also joining the cast. LEE will be playing a single mother who is also a successful drama scriptwriter.The omnibus film has recently locked down all the lead actors and is planning to start shooting in mid-July. Theatrical release is tentatively scheduled for the first half of 2016.
