  • Korean Thrillers Invited to Texas

A pair of recent Korean thrillers will get a chance to win over some Texan fans next month. Azooma and A Company Man have been invited to the 2013 Dallas International Film Festival, which takes place April 4th to 14th. The event is set to screen over 175 films during this year’s edition.

Following its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, Azooma, an intense low-budget drama which follows a mother who goes after the man who raped her child, went on to win awards at festivals in Costa Rica and Nevada. Meanwhile, Showbox’s thriller A Company Man, starring heartthrob SO Ji-sub, tells of a hitman who tries to quit his job.

Both films have screened at numerous events during the last few months and should attract more attention in the Lone Star state.
