Receives High Praise from Arnold SCHWARZENEGGER
Hollywood actor Arnold SCHWARZENEGGER, the hero of Korean director
KIM Jee-woon’s first Hollywood film
The Last Stand, has praised the filmmaker during an interview with American entertainment magazine 'IGN'.
“KIM Jee-woon is a lot like (James) CAMERON,” Arnold suggests. “He's as much into the action as he into the little stuff. He acts (the scenes) out, which is really fun, and he's really good at it.” The 90’s action hero revealed his excitement by saying that, “I very, very rarely had to wait to hear what his interpreter said because when he acts, you get it.”
The Terminator star teamed up with acclaimed director CAMERON in the first and second part of the legendary action franchise Terminator and the action comedy True Lies in the 1980's and 90's.
The former governor of California’s big screen return The Last Stand centers around a small-town Sheriff, Ray OWENS (played by SCHWARZENEGGER), who tries to stop a notorious drug cartel leader who escaped from prison. The upcoming action flick is to hit North American theaters on January 18 and will make its way to Korea in February.
