The films to screen in the Panorama section, which comprises the bulk of the program, will be the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) graduation project Baseball Girl (2019), the rom-com Crazy Romance with Kong Hyojin and Kim Raewon, Kim Doyoung’s acclaimed feminist drama KIM JIYOUNG, BORN 1982 (2019), and indie hits such as Kim Chohee’s Lucky Chansil (2019) and Lim Daehyung’s Moonlit Winter (2019).
This year’s Advance Premiere section, which features early screenings of works that will soon be released in France, will include Woo Minho’s political drama The Man Standing Next (2020) with Lee Byunghun, Yeon Sangho’s debut animation The King of Pigs (2011), and Hong Wonchan’s action noir hit DELIVER US FROM EVIL (2020) with Hwang Jungmin and Lee Jungjae.
