Born in 1971, WOO Min-ho graduated from Chung-Ang University in film before studying abroad at the University of London’s Goldsmith College, where he made his first short film <Who killed Jesus?> in 2000. Despite winning a first award at the Seoul International Agape Film Festival, he would not go on making films until a decade later. In 2010, WOO released his feature debut <Man Of Vendetta>, a successful revenge thriller featuring KIM Myung-min as a minister who goes searching for his kidnapped daughter. Maintaining his partnership with KIM, WOO followed that up in 2012 with the action-comedy-thriller <The Spies>, which featured the actor as a North Korean spy stationed in Seoul who has been making illegal money on the side as he waited for orders from the North. When those finally arrive, he teams up with other agents played by YUM Jung-ah, BYUN Hee-bong and YOO Hae-jin. Three years later, WOO came back with the political thriller <Inside Men>, featuring superstar LEE Byung-hun as a political fixer who gets set up, and won Best Film at the Blue Dragon Awards and the Grand Bell Awards.
