Called "Korean Midas touch," he led the boom of erotic drama production in the 1980s with the box office success of Between the Knees and Eoh Wu-dong by [LEE Jang-ho] and Mulberry by [LEE Doo-yong] that his company produced. While respecting director's originality, he also expressed strong realism in his movies, which made [Taehung Pictures] as the most important production company of the days.
