AZOOMA Invited to Non-competition Section of Moscow International Film Festival

LEE Ji-seung Continues Fest Connection after His Father
 
 
 
 
Azooma has been invited to the 35th Moscow International Film Festival. It is the festival where KANG Soo-yeon won the Best Actress Award with Come Come Come Upward at the 16th edition in 1989, LEE Deok-hwa won the Best Actor Award with I Will Survive in 1993 and JANG Joon-hwan won the Best Director Award with Save The Green Planet in 2003.
 
LEE Ji-seung, the director  of Azooma, is to succeed his father’s connection to the festival. His father is CEO of Taeheung films, LEE Tae-won, who was awarded at Moscow with the film he produced, Come Come Come Upward.
 
LEE Ji-seung expressed his impressions through the distribution company by saying, “I’m very grateful and honored. Not to mention happy about the invitation, the festival will leave me and my father another meaningful memory.” Besides, the Moscow International Film Festival, the New York Korean Film Festival will also screen the film on August 5th.
 
In the meantime, Azooma has grabbed awards at multiple international film festival including the Best Feature Film Award at the Costa Rica International Film Festival and the Platinum Award at the Nevada International Film Festival.
