Born in 1995, LEE Yeon started attending an acting workshop with the hope this would help her overcome the stage freight she was suffering as a singer. After debuting in the short <How to Breathe under the Water> (2017), she played in the indie features <Warning: Explicit Content> (2017), and in <Height of the Wave> (2019), from renowned indie director PARK Jung-bum, she played an orphan woman who had to turn to prostitution to survive in the closed community of a remote island. It was however with her lead role in HAN Jay’s queer drama film <Take Me Home> (2020) that she was first noticed. In 2020, she appeared in the short <COSMOS> (2020) as well as two episodes of the anthology series <SF8> (2020).
