PARK Su-yeon was already in her fourth year of studying philosophy when she heard about the lectures offered in the theatre and film department and realized this might be her vocation. As she was already well advanced into her studies, she decided to do both majors simultaneously. After her debut in 2012 with the short movie <No Space>, she has starred in a lot of shorts, most notable among them the critically acclaimed <The Transfer Student> (2015), which made the official selection of the Busan International Film Festival. She might have landed a bit part in <Sunset In My Hometown> (2017) but has mainly focused her efforts on the independent scene. She has been particularly active in 2018, appearing in her first feature films such as the award-winning and festival favorite indie <House of Hummingbird>, and even starring in some of them, namely <Anchor> (2018) and <Hoop It Up> (2018).
