Also known as KANG Eun-bi (her former stage name before 2012), actress SONG Eun-chae was born in 1986 and began her career as a model in both magazines and commercials in 2004 while she was till attending high school. She embarked on performing roles, in both television and narrative film, in 2005. That year included roles in the TV show <Rainbow Romance> and the youth sex comedy sequel <Wet Dream 2>, a part for which she auditioned alongside 3,500 other hopefuls. In 2006 she took on a supporting part in the romantic comedy <Mr. Wacky> and the TV drama <The Man in the Vineyard>. A few more TV dramas followed, as well as aspirations as a pop performer but SONG had to relinquish from the spotlight after harassment from so-called ‘anti-fans’ who began to invade her privacy and affect her image. This led to her changing her stage name in 2012. She began to embark on a film comeback that kicked off with the low-budget romantic comedy <Wrestling> in 2014 and continued with the period drama <Ownerless Flower Uhwudong> the next year. The film, which screened at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in the summer, drew ample media attention for its strong eroticism. That same year she also appeared in the low-budget erotic thriller <Forbidden Sex, Sweet Revenge>.
