In 2006 she took on a supporting part in the romantic comedy <Mr. Wacky> and the TV drama <The Man in the Vineyard>. A few more TV dramas followed, as well as aspirations as a pop performer but SONG had to relinquish from the spotlight after harassment from so-called ‘anti-fans’ who began to invade her privacy and affect her image. This led to her changing her stage name in 2012. She began to embark on a film comeback that kicked off with the low-budget romantic comedy <Wrestling> in 2014 and continued with the period drama <Ownerless Flower Uhwudong> the next year. The film, which screened at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in the summer, drew ample media attention for its strong eroticism.
