Starring iconic performer SONG Kang-ho, the film was set in the 1960s in Hyoja-dong and featured the actor as a barber who comes to work for the president and his relationship with him over the years. Despite the film’s strong reception, it would be another 10 years before he would find himself wielding the megaphone again. Teaming up with Cineguru for their first financed production, LIM helmed <My Love, My Bride> in 2014, a remake of the LEE Myung-se film of the same name from 1990.
