LEE Tae-Ran debuted after winning the grand prize during SBS’s Talent Search Contest in 1997. She has been active for over a decade since, gaining especial attention for her role in the drama <Famous Princesses>, in which her character becomes a soldier. This role earned her the Top Excellence Award (actress) at the KBS Drama Awards. Since then, she performed as a radio producer in the drama <My Precious Child>, which scored a high number of viewers, earning her the nickname ‘princess of weekend dramas’. In 2007 she got her start in movies with <Love Exposure>, which enabled her to grow as a performer. In 2009, she drew a portrait of a photo she took of herself while she was in a voluntary group in Nepal, thus showing off her artistic skills as well. In 2011, she filmed Chinese dramas such as <Di Jin>, and <Temptations on the Clouds> as well as other commercials in the country. Currently, she is mainly focusing on both the domestic and Chinese broadcasting industry. She returned to Korean films with a role in JEON Kyu-hwan’s indie drama <My Boy> in 2014.
